Chris Brown briefly jailed for hit-and-run charge, hints at early retirement from music!


Chris Brown served a short 40-minute jail stint Monday for hit-and-run chareges.

Chris Brown had time to reflect on his music career while in jail Monday.

The 24-year-old singer was locked up for 40 minutes before being released without posting bail, MTV reports.

Brown was in the pen for charges he previously pled not guilty to in association with a May hit-and-run crash.


"It's not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars)," he tweeted June 25. "This is really ridiculous."
The "Don't Wake Me Up" singer was reportedly booked at the Van Nuys jail in Los Angeles at approximately 2:40 p.m. and exited by 3:22 p.m., according to records from the County Sheriff's Department.
